Happy 2026 from our D&D group, goodbye Martin, and hello Mateo!
Martin, the player behind great heroes such as Gray and Krariak has migrated to another continent. We composed a song in his honor:

Rolled into Ironwound in my shining plate Met a puppet and a druid, sealed a prison break fate Threw daggers at a wall while Lyra held her breath Won a drinking contest, left a guard for death I'm Gray, the paladin, oath of vengeance sworn Saving lives and ending them since the day I was born Half my healing goes to fixing my mistakes But I'll jump off every cliff for my party's sake Tossed a puppet over fences into sleeping goats Got knocked out by a ram, nearly cut my throat Snuck into an inn while a dwarf fell down the stairs Grabbed a gnome's belongings like anybody cares I'm Gray, the paladin, my plans almost never fail Sacred Flame on wagon wheels, sent a kid off the rail I stabilized her after, that's what paladins do Then a viper bit my ass and I went unconscious too Purified every well in this cursed mining town While my party's robbing merchants, burning bodies down Sister Gloria knows we're guilty, got her letters anyway Just a lawful-good paladin having a regular day Ran into a wildfire 'cause I heard someone crying Found that halfling girl again, somehow still not dying Cast resistance on us both, thought we'd make it through But the valley had other plans, now they're dead, I'm screwed I'm Gray, the paladin, disasters in my wake Every rescue mission turns into a tragic mistake But I'll charge through flames and cliffs with my heart on my sleeve The unluckiest holy warrior you'd ever believe So here's to jumping cliffsides and guards I've set aflame To puppets, druids, rogues who know my name I may leave bodies everywhere I go But that's just oath of vengeance, bro That's just oath of vengeance, bro
