The heroes start the session in front of the minotaur guardian the bridge to the abandoned abbey. At the back, near the entrance to the abbey, they also spot two guards in front of the door.

Lyra tries to confuse and distract the minotaur sending him magic messages, but the minotaur doesn’t understand the messages and just gets very confused.

While they’re about to mess again with the minotaur’s mind even more using magic hands, psychic blades and message, Klik and Klak get bored and start throwing rocks to the lake. The minotaur goes to inspect and even though Soto tries to further distract him, it’s too late and combat starts. The minotaur gores him sending him unconscious on round one. The rest of the heroes, hiding from the edge of the forest, attack back and Ike casts Thunderwave pushing him prone into the acidic lake surrounding the abbey. The next turn, when he gets out, with acid burns all over his skin, Ike casts ??? and immolates him. The heroes kill one of the two thugs that stood at the abbey’s entrance, but the other thug escapes inside. While this has been going on, the heroes have also been hearing a roaring sound coming from inside the abbey several times.

After a few minutes deciding what to do right in front of the abbey, a young black dragon who had stealthily climbed to the top of the ruined front wall of the abbey swoops in and attacks Nemo who was standing on the bridge. The heroes fight back, with little rest from the minotaur fight and soon, a hunchback mummy comes out from the abbey and joins the fray.

The black dragon, who calls himself ??? tells them that it’s too late, that “the Ancient one has been awoken.” Lyra tries to persuade it to go check its treasure because they, the heroes, have stolen it, but the dragon isn’t 100% convinced.

There is a bit of confusion about what to do next, but the heroes decide that a young black dragon, a mummy, and possibly an ancient black dragon might be too much for their level 3 skills and leave. To help them decide, a new roaring sound comes from the abbey, but this time it’s several levels of “scary” above the previous roaring, it’s not coming from the same creature. Brand, though, in order to give the party enough time to escape, runs to the bridge putting himself between the black dragon and the mummy, and readies an action to charge at the mummy if it gets closer. The mummy does exactly that and Brand hammers the hell out of it throwing it into the middle of the acidic lake. The, and I quote the party, “zombie rolled in toilet paper,” sinks with agony on its face, and while Ike and Lyra, and Soto continue physically and magically pummelling, and also casting “shocking grasp” to hold the dragon in place, Brand is able to escape the bridge and run with the rest of the party who was already on its way.

The dragon chases after Brand through the forest while most of the party is mostly gone, but after another shocking grasp spell from Ike, that gives more time to Brand to leave, the dragon stops pursuing them and, with so much fog around, they lose track of it.

The heroes run for a few minutes and then stop to decide what to do. They again consider going back to the abbey in the middle of the night, but Jinu does mention that if it’s indeed an ancient black dragon that has been awakened, they stand no chance.

After sprinting through the forest, as quietly as a donkey ridden by a zombie and a paladin armorclad can be, our heroes reach the shore and, relieved, see Paco, Paquito, and Pietro still trying to fix the damaged ship.

The heroes give a hurried explanation and persuade the crew to leave right away because shit has hit the fan.

Badly patched, but at least not sinking, the ship leaves the island in the thickening and depressing fog.

Minutes later, still full of adrenaline, the party realizes that Uncle Bob, the zombie is missing along with a chunk of the back ??? (pieza de madera). Only one of his ankles is left. While Ike is repeating that getting into the ship and into the fog makes them sitting ducks and was a bad idea, everybody goes into the “camarotes”, except for Nemo, who was hides in front of the ship next to Little Sebastian to protect him.

Minutes later, the gnome hears the thumping sound of something climbing the ship. He hides and gets ready, and as soon as the head of the black dragon shows up above the ???, he shoots an arrow at its neck, rolling a 20 and nearly insta-killing the dragon who sinks, in agonizing pain, into the sea.

The ship sails for the net two to three hours unmolested and starts to see the Wicked Whiskey Wharf in the distance.

As they approach the docks, the party sees a group of hooded people dressed in red tunics, like the tunics of the Asmodeus cultist that Nemo killed in cold blood days ago. With them, they see Sister Gloria and the bountyhunter that’s chasing Lyra.

The party decides that leaving right then for Zoqoi and the Red Sea is a better idea and arrange with Paco continued payment for their services. The party sketches different ideas to make money to pay by either pirating, robbing pirates, or taking side quests, and to take the boat from Paco and company if they don’t secure enough money.

The episode ends with our heroes sailing along the coast towarsd the south east and confident in their plans.
