Juan Alonso

Juan Alonso was born in Buenos Aires, where his parents were living in exile (his father was the Spanish literary critic Amado Alonso). Further political exile from Argentina brought their family to America, where Juan spent his adolescence. He was co-founder of The Boston Review where he was Editor during the first four years. He is the author of five favorably reviewed novels as well as much other, shorter fiction.
